If you’re visiting Thailand for the first time and you want to make your own itinerary for 2 nights and 3 days. Here are the 5 things you must try in Bangkok to make your first DIY Tour a success!
- CHAO PHRAYA TOURIST BOAT

2. Ride a TUK TUK
Tuk-tuks or ‘sam lor’ (three-wheeled) used to be everyone’s favorite way of getting around Bangkok before the BTS, MRT and colorful taxis took over. It is essentially a rickshaw with a small engine fitted in
A ride on a tuktuk is undoubtedly one of the best things to do in Bangkok, and completely necessary to make you feel like a local. To really get to know Bangkok culture and daily life in Thailand, you need to get yourself this ultimate tuk-tuk experience, the Bangkok day tour with a twist!
Tuk-tuks have become one of Bangkok’s most recognizable transportation features and are still popular among tourists and visitors. Riding a tuk-tuk is more of an experience rather than a practical way to get around. Normally a very short trip will cost 30 baht.

3. Taste of PAD THAI
Pad Thai, phat Thai or phad Thai is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly served as street food and at casual local eateries in Thailand. Essentially a food prepared by street vendors vying for customers, Pad Thai is bought out of doors and eaten there. Its taste – sweet, salty, sour, and spicy – lures back customers repeatedly.

4. Experience THAI MASSAGE
Most people who visit Thailand have a to do list of things that they want to experience, and Thai massage is always very close to the top of that list. With so many massage options available to visitors, it can be difficult to find exactly what you’re looking for .
I recommend Health Land , it looks like a retro mansion and inside it’s a little like a hospital but if you speak to the locals this is often their number one pick for massage treatments in Bangkok. The facilities are high quality and the massages are a great value with a two-hour Thai message costing only 500 baht. Be sure to book ahead as Health Land is extremely popular, and a word of warning, the staff at the reception desk may not be the friendliest welcome team around but once you get are enjoying your Thai massage you will soon forget about this.

5. Visit TEMPLE
Bangkok’s temples are a unique part of the capital’s heart and soul. The architecture is awe-inspiring and the glittering decoration like no other.
If there is one must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it’s the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city’s most famous landmark. Grand Palace of Bangkok is a grand old dame indeed, that continues to have visitors in awe with its beautiful architecture and intricate detail, all of which is a proud salute to the creativity and craftsmanship of Thai people.
A strict dress code applies. The Grand Palace with The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is Thailand’s most sacred site. Visitors must be properly dressed before being allowed entry to the temple. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeves (no tank tops.
If you’re wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks (in other words, no bare feet.) Women must be similarly modestly dressed. No see-through clothes, bare shoulders, etc. If you show up at the front gate improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entrance that can provide clothes to cover you up properly (a deposit is required).
